Who we are and what this covers

SungTech LLC ("we", "us") is a Utah limited liability company. These terms apply to our software, including LiveStream AutoMixer ("LAM"), and to the licenses we sell for it. By installing or using the software, you agree to these terms. If you're agreeing on behalf of a church, business, or other organization, you're confirming you have the authority to do so.

Your license

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the software while your subscription is active. The software is licensed, not sold.

• One computer per license. Each license activates one machine at a time. If you replace or rebuild that machine, you can move the license to the new one — just ask.
• The tier you bought. Licenses are sold by channel capacity (for example, 8 channels or 16 channels). Your license covers the tier you purchased.
• Your own use. Use it for your own livestreams and productions, as many as you like. Don't resell it, rent it out, or run it as a service for others.

Free trial

We offer a 30-day free trial, and we don't ask for a card to start it. The trial begins when you first activate the software, not when you sign up — so you get the full 30 days even if it takes you a while to install it.

Before the trial ends, you'll receive an email with a link to add payment details if you want to continue. If you do nothing, nothing happens: the trial simply expires and you are not charged.

Payment, billing, and refunds

Subscriptions are billed in advance for each billing period and renew automatically until cancelled.

Purchases are processed by Link, a Stripe service, which acts as the merchant of record for the sale. This means your receipt, your card statement, and your subscription-management page will show Link rather than SungTech LLC. It's still us — Link handles the transaction on our behalf. Payment, refund, and dispute matters are handled by Link under their terms, and applicable sales tax is calculated and collected at checkout.

You can view invoices, update your card, or cancel at any time through the Link customer portal, or by emailing us.

Cancelling, and what happens afterward

You can cancel whenever you like. Your license stays active through the end of the period you've already paid for, and it won't renew after that. We don't charge a cancellation fee.

When a subscription ends, the software stops opening. It does not delete your profiles, settings, or files — if you subscribe again later, everything is where you left it.

How license checks work

We think licensing should be invisible on a Sunday morning, so the software is designed around a few rules:

• It never interrupts audio that's already running. A license check can prevent the app from starting; it will not stop a broadcast in progress.
• It works offline. The software validates in the background and keeps a signed offline license, so a dropped internet connection doesn't stop you. The current offline grace period is 30 days.
• You get warning first. If a subscription is lapsing or a license is about to expire, the software tells you well in advance rather than on the day.

To do this, the software periodically contacts our licensing provider with your license key and an identifier for your computer. It does not send your audio. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Your audio and your content

The software runs entirely on your computer. Your audio is never transmitted to us, and we have no access to it. Logs and diagnostic files are written to your own disk and stay there unless you choose to send them to us for support.

You keep all rights to everything you produce with the software. We claim nothing in your recordings, streams, or broadcasts.

Updates

Your subscription includes updates released while it's active. We'll tell you what's changed, and the software will never interrupt you to install one — no update will be forced on you while you're setting up or running a broadcast. You choose the moment.

Choosing when to update isn't the same as staying on an old version forever. We support the current release and the one before it. If you've fallen several versions behind, we may ask you to update before we can help — often because the fix is already in a release you haven't installed.

Support

Support is by email, and a real person answers. We're a small company, not a 24-hour help desk. We try to respond quickly and we prioritize anything that's stopping a broadcast, but we don't promise a fixed response time.

What you may not do

• Copy, share, or resell the software or your license key.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code, except where law expressly permits it.
• Work around, disable, or tamper with licensing or activation.
• Remove or obscure any notice of ownership in the software.

Beta and pre-release versions

From time to time we make beta or pre-release versions available. These are works in progress, provided as-is, and may behave unpredictably. Please don't rely on a beta for anything you can't afford to have go wrong, and tell us when it does — that's what it's for.

Ownership

The software, its design, and its underlying methods remain the property of SungTech LLC. Patent pending. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of anything to you beyond the license described above.

No warranty

We work hard to make the software reliable, and we use it ourselves every week in live services. Even so, it is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will suit every room, board, or workflow.

Live production carries risk. We recommend keeping a way to get audio to your stream without LAM — for example, a direct feed from your board to your streaming computer that you can switch to — just as you would keep a spare for any other single point of failure in the chain.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, SungTech LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost recordings, lost viewers, or missed broadcasts, arising out of your use of the software. Our total liability for any claim relating to the software is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Suspension

We may suspend or end a license if payment fails and isn't resolved, or if the software is being used in a way these terms prohibit. Except in cases of clear abuse, we'll contact you first and give you a fair chance to put it right.

Changes to these terms

If we update these terms, we'll change the "last updated" date above, and we'll email current subscribers about anything significant. Continuing to use the software after a change means you accept the current version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Utah.
